[Request]Piracy n' stuff

okay basically i've always been interested in those certain events where pirates try to take your ship, is it possible that someone could make a mod where you[the player] could do that, if your ship is damaged enough or something?

i'm bad with details don't judge me

I think Captain's Edition has what you need covered.
You can attack civilian ships so long as you have the right augments. After all, a Federation Cruiser won't do it but a Slug Cruiser or a Mantis ship would.

If you want just the piracy events though, I can't help you with that. Someone else might though.

i mean like completely steal the enemy ship and make it your own for that run, i doubt it's possible but if it is i'd like to see a mod like that

Isn't there a thing called the Shipyard where you can swap out ships mid-game?
Could it be possible to have modded ships in it and you can roleplay capturing an enemy ship in the middle of a fight?

Technically you can swap ships mid-game, however it's not achieved via traditional modding. Vhati's Profile Editor has the capability to modify savegames, and one of the things stored in those files is the ship the player is currently using. You can change it to any ship you want, although there are bound to be some bugs.
