[MOD RELEASE] Face Space beta 1

Face space beta 1 is a joke semi conversion mod that aims to add a number of new sectors, factions and ingame "items" to FTL.

WiP features:
Playable Facepunch flagship (replaces Kestrel)
Facepunch crew
Face space sectors with custom events
A few weapons

Maybe some things I forgot.


The mod is 100% playable there are just a number of half finished features etc included in this beta, if you do find any game breaking bugs please post them here, or if you just have any suggestions do the same.

Notes:
If I edited anything the FTL team do not wish to be included please say so I can remove them and update the download.

I will also release a seperate version of the playable flagship with a canon federation skin.

This actually looks extremely fun, but what specialties does the facepunch crew have?
I always have this great idea to post about when reading a thread, but I always seem to loose the subject while writing a reply, and end up not saying anything at all. I should sleep more. Is that a cookie?

Tha facepunch crew are currently nothing more than a reskin of the human crew, they'll have their pros and cons in the next beta.

I can't see any reskinning in the screenshot...

Thats because the crew in the flagship are normal human crew, the only way to get facepunch crew atm is from a store.

looks like you put a lot of work in to that, and it looks pretty good from what i can see on your screenshots. Thanks for that.
I didn't download it yet, because it seems like you included the repacked resources.dat .

With Grognaks Mod Manager, you should be able to create a much smaller version.

Hey i would really like to help you with this mod only problem is im just learning. But if they update the game and give out the UI code or the Source Code then would you change the name that way you can add in allot more stuff ^^

Thanks for the great looking mod, however I can't get it to run with the mod manager or using the data files directly.

Every time I do it no changes are made to the game.

EDIT* Running as admin fixes the issue, strange.
