Well, as a followup, I tried compiling the source and comparing md5 hashes as you suggested, Grognak.
Sad part is, ...I couldn't figure out how to compile the source code >.>
I'm no coder, and I've never, EVER used or seen Python outside Blender plugins (and even then, I didn't code them, just drop them in a folder >.<)
I tried, but I'm not experienced enough, I'm afraid. Even had I gotten the code compiled, I wouldn't have known where to look for the hashes anyway.

Grognak's Mod Manager (v1.4dev)

Postby Law » Mon Oct 15, 2012 5:50 am

I'm having an issue running the version out of the git repo as well. My problem doesn't lay with easyGUI, but rather its reliance on ftldat.

Code: Select all

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "main.py", line 5, in <module>
from ftldat import FTLDatUnpacker as du
ImportError: cannot import name FTLDatUnpacker

Looks like it's trying to import an section that isn't there. I'm running ftldat after installing it via pip, and encountered this error both on Windows and OS X.

GMM uses an older version of FTLdat, so I'm not surprised it doesn't work. Download the latest version from mediafire to get it.

Whenever I try running GMM, I get the error and have to terminate. I am running Mac OS X. I have DLed the Mac oriented one too.
Any Ideas?

Redownload the archive, and if that doesn't work, try downloading 7zip instead. :)

If your antivirus reads it as a threat (false positive) it may eliminate it before it even gets written to your drive.

Hi, I'm ultra confused on how to get this to run on a mac. Could someone make a video tutorial? I'm not very good at following text instructions. I'm stuck on getting the Crytal ship and I also feel like using mods so yeah.
