Yes, you are correct. Installing this mod with CE would make it appear odd because it adds new sprite images for crew that this mod does not account for.
Hopefully, I can soon get a released version of compatible versions of these mods for CE, Arsenal+ and some other overhaul mods.

Hi Thanks for the reply, I'd actually given it a go before I read your message as I thought "why not" and it actually sort of worked?

I just added Tweevie's Accessorised Portraits at the bottom of mod order on SSM. It obvisiosuly removes the portraits that CE gives you. Also it uses human portraits for AI characters but their in ship models are still transparent. All the portraits seem to match the animated avatars in the ship and nothing "looks odd" so far. Incidently, I'm not too bad with gimp and would love to try and create portraits for the AI characters, if I created them how would I go about importing them into the mod (if I had permission, although at this stage it'll only be for my own personal use)?

New update!

Adds two new versions of the mod to work with Arsenal+ and Captain's Edition.

And two pixels.
