I tried installing this awesome-looking mod and it is completely broken: the floor and gibs of the ships are all over the place, and each time I try to start a game a game it crashes. This also happens when I try to choose my ship in the hangar. Is there a fix for this or is this mod discontinued?
PS: Is this just a matter of having to install this with GMM? I used SMM.

Well, this mod was made 1-2 years ago, and FTL has changed a lot since then. Most likely discontinued.

I tried this mod with GMM It was still very Glichy :*(

That's because FTL has changed and this mod is several years old.

For all of you disappointed about the state of the mod, CE has some features relating to piracy.

Installing CE for the pirates is like flying to Chicago because you feel like pizza tonight. You won't have a bad time by any means but you may want better reasons to do it.

Just mentioning it. It's pretty barebones compared to what the rest of CE has to offer, so I figure if someone installs it they aren't playing for JUST the piracy.
