[Challenge Mod] Punks and Posers

So I made this almost a year ago, but, after glancing over the master modlist, I realised I must've not posted it here! (*fittingly this is my 404th post!)

Based on a Monthly Challenge from the FTL subreddit, this basically hardcodes some (pretty extreme) limitations into the game


Mod Effects:
  • Locks all non-piloting stations.
  • Prevents upgrading of Weapons, Drones and Artillery.
  • Custom glow graphics, both as a reminder to the player and as visual evidence in screenshots.

The file is still available for download here (right click - save as)

So isn't Piloting locked out as well? You don't actually need a person manning Piloting to do FTL jumps, just having someone in the room will do the trick.

You know I never considered that.

Just checked, and it works, but my FTP is being a dunce right now so I can't update it.

If anyone wants to edit it in, just open up the three blueprint files and add the following anywhere under <mod:findLike type="systemList">

         <mod:findLike type="pilot">
            <mod-overwrite:slot>
               <number>5</number>
            </mod-overwrite:slot>
         </mod:findLike>

But it won't have that red glow the other systems do :P
