[SHIP] The DeLorean

As the Rebels approach closer and closer to the Federation Base, the Federation has less and less resources. Desperate, the Federation has turned to retrofitting old Earth vehicles for interstellar travel. The much famed DeLorean DMC-12, due to its stainless-steel construction, was one of the first cars to exit the atmosphere.

Start:
Reactor power 7
Shield level 1
Engine level 2
Medbay level 2
Weapons level 4 -
Leto Missile (12 missiles)
Burst Laser Mark I
Augment - Engi Med-Bot Dispersal
Four weapon slots
Two drone slots
Crew - Mantis, Engi, Zoltan, and Rock

Replaces Stealth A.

Changelog:
1.04 - Medbay capacity reduced to three crewmembers at once.
1.03 - Weapon mounts modified, hangar tooltip changed, mod-appendix added.
1.01 - Door phase-through bug fixed.
1.00 - First release.

Nice, I'd never thought of doing the DeLorean!

The walking bug is due to doors not being linked properly; if you're using slipstream click 'Edit', 'Reset Door Links'.

Looks pretty good, I'll give it a spin at some point ^^

Wait a minute... are you telling me you built a starship out of a DeLorean?

Although, considering the size of cruisers and such, it's a rather big DeLorean. The Flagship is smaller than that :lol:

If its any consolation; I had a go at planning out a 'life size' delorean-
It's possible, but nightmarish; at 6 squares big, you'd almost definitely need stacked systems, meaning you'd need auto pilot for repairs, so then you'd need a new start event to pick up Doc and Marty...

I think you made the right choice!

It's not bad, just that like any other ship, the RNG can crap all over you.
