(SHIP) The Argo

A greek trireme, based around boarding and ramming. It has a ramming artillery which does massive damage. However it's far from perfect, no gibs, the gui gets a bit messed by only having one weapon slot, but hopefully you can ignore that and have some fun! Its easy early on, and hard later. Replaces Kestral B.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY ANY OTHER SYSTEMS
I have not added spaces for them as I think the layout is the best it can be.

You could try altering the GUI like Gencool did with the Arwing when it came to only one weapon slot. But it's probably a bit too complex for a simple mod about using an oared vessel in combat over the stars.

Thanks, i made the ship in sketchup. Sadly I wasn't skilled enough to make gibs :L

might wanna see the video, Biohazard in the comments has some very...well important things to say thats important to you

BTW I think if ya made the ship just slightly bigger you could add more rooms to the ship, maybe then we could even have more weapons LOL

The amount of weapons has nothing to do with room size/amount, i purposely made it low. And thanks for letting me know about the issue, I'll look into it....

EDIT: Had a quick look, and the projectiles spawning inside shields issue is a side effect of the large ship. I guess I could fix it but I'm lazy & can't remember much about modding..... I would have to move the ship further back, but then the rooms wouldn't line up how I'd imagined, with sensors in the crows nest, engines in the sails etc.
