What's new? Nothing! The ship's still the same except now the Antimatter Siege Cannon makes a different sound and I tried to put a miniship icon in!

Edit: Huh, I made this ship last year on this exact day. Coincidence?

I am a shitakke mushroom at coding. thus I cannot extract 'blueprints.xml.'
I would rather use it as a ui mod, edit it, change name, class etc and make a Federation Dreadnought.

.ftl is just the extension. It's actually an archive, so anything like WinRAR or your standard Windows 7 archive extractor could probably take a look inside.

It can't be that hard to copy and paste code from one document and put it in another. I'm not asking you to make an elaborate event here (which is something that really is complicated) just copy some words and put them into another document labelled "blueprints.xml.append"

Don't copy the file directly, because you'll want to remove the Zoltan Flagship inside.

There's a story behind that. Check out Fight of the Osprey: Mysteries of Abadoth for details. Because that Crystal section was part of the original "Gutei" and formed part of the Antimatter Siege Cannon. After all, it's not all Zoltan in design. They had help.

I enjoy messing with ships so I thought i would make this ship medium to easy instead of op. Just a little thing I did in my spare time.

Heh. Although you did give it a Burst Laser II to make up for it.

Pretty much!
There is no med bay as well so early game you need to get one or your crew will die. It also has a decreased hull as it's focused on shields.

Lack of Medbay AND a lack of Doors.

That never ends well. Ever.
Reasoning? The game will make sure to send as many boarders to your ship and without Doors to control their flow, they'll go right into your most vital rooms and you'll have no way of fighting them off because your Zoltan crew is badly-damaged from that last boarding attempt.

You can't even cut the air out of the room because again, you can't heal your crew.
"But if you have two layers of shield, can't you just go to a store and buy a medbay ASAP with 50 Scrap?"
Wrong! Stores don't sell systems when you need them.
