i beat the flag ship with this tank and this is what i had: burst laser 2,bl1,flak 1,(added systems) shields,hacking,(crew) zoltan envoy,engi virus,human,slug,mantis

Uhh, what ship does this replace? Or should I assume that if it's not explicitly stated, then it's the Kestrel A that's being replaced?

Here's my personal take on the ship, having played it myself.

Fighting without shields or stealth originally gave me a scare, until I got into my mindset of gearing up weapons for the "kill them before
they kill you" strat, but then I realized my health just not seeming to go down at all even when I took quite a few hits. That's when I
realized you gave this thing like SIXTY or so hull points.

Considering I never got the thing under half health (but I did come close a few times), I can say that much probably wasn't necessary, but then
again, I strictly play on the lowest difficulty. (I play games for fun, not self-flagellation)

I did manage to buy shields for it, and I did foolishly purchase mind control before realizing it can't have it, so that was some wasted scrap,
but overall it was a fun and tanky ship. I had a 2-shot ion, a vulcan, the initial 3-shot laser, and a second 3-shot custom pew-pew.

That, and fully upgraded artillery, which I swear you must've bumped up the cooldown on because that thing was firing just about as fast as
the 3-shot laser when fully upgraded.

The room layout made it nice easy to deter boarding parties, though I did lose a good mantis due to the weapons bay getting hacked, while a
boarding drone was blasting him. That was just bad luck.

Fun ship, regardless. Doesn't feel like it needs any further balancing tweaks to me.
