[Ship]Star Trek: Enterprize (NX-01)

Hey!

Recently I was watching the Star Trek: Enterprize series with some friends, and I thought it would be fun to make a ship mod for FTL! :D

The ship image was not my design, it was brutally ripped from Google Images. I made sure beforehand it was not copyrighted by anyone.

The NX-01 at the beginning of the series was originally pretty weak, with only a prototype weapon and a torpedo launcher. I don't want to give away too many spoilers, if you guys are watching (or want to watch) the series.

I think my favorite part of creating this mod was the 'Shielding' design. I decided to use Zoltan Shielding rather than just extra HP points, so that there's a better chance of actually living on to get a shielding system. I tried to go for what looks like "Polarizing the Hull Plating", something John would yell at the screen in the beginning of a battle. :lol:

I actually didn't take time to look for all of the bugs, but I DO know that Cloaking causes the Shielding image to overlap over the ship hull.

I hope you guys (and gals) enjoy the ship! :D

The shield shape is really gonna mess with defense drones.

The date above is wrong, the mod was updated January 17. I edited my previous post, it was unnecessary.

Update: Gibs!

After about a month with using the ship in runthroughs, it bugged me that the ship had no gibs for a while. So, I revisited the mod and implemented some!

It took me a few hours to work out how to cut up the ship into parts, and put them together in Superluminal. No more awkward text on destruction! :lol:

A few friends pointed out that there weren't enough airlocks on the ship, which made putting out fires harder. I put in more, pretending them to be cargo bay doors and shuttle bay doors.

I do hope you guys like it. Leave feedback on what you think should be changed, or added.

In a future update, I plan to add custom weapons, once I figure out how to implement them. :D

Greeting im kinda new to ftl but i just happen to be in season 3 of enterprise and i would love to use your mod but both link come up as broken . please ,please send me a link or that ship i need it
