Question, where do I put the mods that aren't in the load order in the readme?
Just for clarity, I have no other mods than the sM Polish Kit in SMM
EDIT: If the mods have different names between the readme and the actual mods, can you tell me which are which?

Hey there! I've been enjoying this mod quite a bit.

However, I did notice a bug. When I jumped into an ice field, the text says that the rebel fleet pursuit doubled. I was pretty happy to discover that it actually was not doubled (that sounds like BS to me), but it's still misleading. Any way to fix it?

doubled as in doubled for 1 jump (or 2 jumps, 3 jumps, and so forth). NOT doubled as in doubled forever and you have half as much time through the game, that would be BS :shock:. however, in sMPK it should say "Fleet pursuit increased by 1 jump" (not "misleading"), not doubled.....we are talking about Captain's Remix here, right?? :?

also... vanilla has that "fleet pursuit doubled" text, so what did you think was going on when it said that..? :roll:

Yeah, I know it's only for a single jump. I meant that even for that beacon, the fleet pursuit was not doubled.

The event text:
An automated turret stationed right next to the beacon immediately locks on to your ship. There's no place to hide in this ice field, not even from the scanners of the incoming fleet.


Followed by saying "Fleet pursuit increased by 1 jump".

When I went to jump, however, it wasn't doubled.

Hello i have just installed the captain remix mod, but i still have vanilla player ships. Am i doing something wrong or is this intended?

You're not supposed to run sMPK with CE, so you probably won't be able to run any other overhaul mods alongside sMPK.

(Basically, nothing -- but probably the backgrounds.)

Hi all,

The named weapons in my Insurrection game are showing up as 'fake' weapons (basic laser image), no image in equipment screen. Is this a widespread issue? Here is my mod order:

Just as a heads-up, with the release of Slipstream compatibility for the current beta version of FTL comes a bunch of other changes behind the hood. I am currently in the process of adapting the Polish Kit for these, as well as testing to ensure that nothing is broken in any dramatic fashion. I'm not sure if I will make this version public until after the update goes out of Beta entirely, but I will keep everyone posted.
