where can I get a older version of ftl?
is there a way I could repatch the mod to work in AE?? :oops: :cry:

The mod, like many other, are not updated for advance edition.

Pity. I just hope that "someone" will pick it up (or, original author re-appears), as it was quite interesting concept :) Reminded me of Engi Hive cruiser, and it's selective shield bubble...

I wonder what causes the crashing...

Has anyone tried other ships with non-adjacent room connections, like the Scarab?

Another possibility, although I find it very unlikely, is that Defense II drones no longer use the <level>2</level> tag that is used by the defense drone on this ship.

At a quick glance, those are the only two ideas I've come up with. :|

I heard that the room glow image is changed quite a bit. And drone engine image.

Drone engine image is irrelevant. Definitely not causing a crash. (I don't like this change, though, because all drones use the same engine graphic now.)

Room glow image... with the AE change, these image files need to be prefixed with room_ in order to receive their glows from the new rooms.xml file. I don't know if using images without that prefix causes problems. I do know that images don't need glows to run the game, because some old mods still run with the glows missing.

Those are just my random guesses, I do not know how to make a mod AE compatible nor do I know to many new things about it besides somehow ion beam is changed and stuff.
