No it's not (unless the authors of the other game have expressly authorized it, of course).

EXTRA! EXTRA! Nighthawk defeats boss in epic battle in easy mode!!! Never thought it possible, probably will never do it again, but made it with a great deal of luck. Still need to find some way to repair left wing systems (bought sensors, they were knocked out on the next jump). Score was 3275
System Information at end of battle:
Hull Points Remaining 2, Power 8, Drone Parts 4, Missiles 21, Fuel 15, Crew 3
Systems:
Engines, Level 5, Cloaking, Level 2, Medbay, Level 2, Oxygen, Level 2, Weapons, Level 6
Subsystems:
Pilot 1, Sensors 1, Doors 3
Weapons:
Ion Blast, Ion Bomb, Halbred Beam, Burst Laser I
Drones:
System Repair, AntiShip I, Defense I

Good job! However, Unless you have a mod that provides a repair bomb, it's impossible to repair those systems
The Rebel Flagship: The only ship to make the DemonStar look like a pansy.

Be ye wary of the ship with the demon airlock...

Can't seem to get this one running. Did Advanced Edition somehow break it?

Most (if not all) ship mods were broken with AE.
