If you're using GIMP then Image > Mode > RGB should do here.

Here's a quick one I did. I just opened your base in GIMP, added a new Layer, hid the base layer and exported over the old PNG. Should work but I haven't tested it.

Alright, I've now put your image file into V1.3, as well as changed the ship it replaces since not being able to buy cloak was a complaint people were having. It now replaces the Kestrel B

Great ship, I just have two 'issues'.
1. The gib is the whole ship. I don't know if that is intentional or not, but it looks kinda strange.
2. The weapons aren't really FTL style. Nukes and Rail Gun? They don't really fit into the game.
Other than that, I had lots of fun playing the game and found that because of the weak hull it was actually quite challenging.

Hey, so I downloaded this mod but now, after I took it out of my mods folder and used the mod manager to uninstall it, it still is in my actual FTL game is the kestral cruiser format B and I have looked at all the files and haven't found a trace of it.

So, basically, wat u are saying is that we can only mod 4 or 5 different weapons. More than that, they will not be FTL "style"... maybe 15% of the mod community content are guided by that premise, the rest are original weapons, or almost thats wat people try to do, not another burst laser.. or another leto launcher.. xD.
