Re: Stardrive

Ah, Masters of Orion. It's one of the few games that everyone I know owns a copy. I still play the second one on a regular basis and I've owned it since '96. I've even got it installed on a flash drive and set so it can run from the flash drive regardless of which computer I plug it in to. I hold th...

Re: Blendo Games

I've got both Flotilla and Atom Zombie Smasher. I do enjoy both (though Flotilla more than AZS) but I find them both utterly frustrating. I don't like losing and both of those games really end as a No-Win senario. I feel that AZS actively tries to make you lose, whereas Flotilla just ends.

Re: Suggestion: Statistic page at the end of every run.

It'd be nice if there was 1 random stat thrown in for a laugh, like "# of bad guys sent to the sweet embrace of death" , "People going for a space walk", "# of Baddies Overcooked", "Total # of Inches traveled". It's not needed, I'd like to see stats either way...

Re: Spam!?

Yeah, it's getting really bad now. There are more frequent posts from bots then normal people. There needs to be something added to registration, a Captcha check or typing in "I am human" or something.

Re: [Suggestion] Co-op?

While I think it's a good idea, it would be difficult to implement for a 2 man team. Firstly because (from all accounts) net code is a bitch, secondly because it may add some balancing issues. I personally can't think of a good way to have a local co-op control scheme (as it's a very mouse centric g...

Re: Fire Surpression Systems

I think that would work. If it's per room it doesn't need to be too expensive (~30-40 scrap), or you could make it cheaper (~15-25) with negative side effects. Since it would probably be a gas based fire supression system (electronics and water don't mix) you could give it the same effects as depres...

I do like the new designs, they seem more aggressive and threatening.

Re: Events which test the player morally

~Snip~ To the person that didn't want reputation to spread out across the world: FTL means faster then light, technically it does not mean instantanious (Unless the devs has said otherwise and I've missed it). If I recall correctly there are some theories about splitting fotons or subatomic particl...
