I suspect, if one were clever enough, that one could cause the Rockman's weapon to "level up" via plot-driven events. Or that a monk could be caused to speak, avoiding a battle yet losing him (or her) as a crewmember. Or that, perhaps, the Engi (being canonical to a fault) might reconfigu...

You can safely delete img/customizeUI/miniship_birdofprey.png and img/weapons/bop_torpedo_shot_strip.png. I say this only because your mod otherwise shows great skill and attention to detail. (There _may_ be haters WRT the art style, but I don't think the modding community has struck out far ENOUGH ...

Check the reference to the projectile & your animations.xml.append in general.

*sings* Anything you can do badly, I can do badly better.

Will destroy any ship in the game in under one second, using any one weapon or drone (although it has four of each). Upgraded reactor not necessary.

I can't help much with mods since we don't follow particularly closely what people are doing with them. But if you do encounter a problem repeatedly of abnormally fast asteroids, that could be an in-game bug. Videos would be the most helpful for debugging, but obviously that's a lot to ask for. A f...

Yup, and according to what I've read it works for both player and non-player ships.
