So today, after almost 700 beacons explored, I lost interest in the run. Kestrel I, with 4xBurst2, 3xreloader 2xdefence+ 4zoltans in shield room to help with the power... EVERY ship including all the bosses would manage 3 damage tops, mainly due to my lack of attention. Question is, is there anythin...

Another thing - Cat is probably not so much "Mantis" as "Zoltan" - energetic and fragile. Plus neon-green fits him so much better. I don't think it'll affect balancing much, you can just drop one energy bar or not bother - scrap recovery arm will get these 20 really quick anyhow.

Thank you for burning 3 hours of sleep time in playing the mod!
I found it to be awesome continuation experience, having played 135 hours of vanilla FTL (I just recently discovered the mods).

I am not sure if it'll work, but can you try using fire beam on the weapon room to cause the damage to system, but not to the crew (the other square) then let him put out the fire and repair. Repeat till done.

As far as I know, the closest thing to that is assign autofire for some weapons and just give no target for the ones you want to time. No, still micromanaging, but excessive use of spacebar is what this game is all about anyways.

I have unlocked the crystal on my 104th run, the last 60 or so were unlock attempts.
Just stay with it, you'll manage eventually.
