Re: One final chance: An FTL-RP

I'm really sorry, guys, but I've decided to drop out of the RP. It's been awesome, but lately it randomly halts, starts back up and then does the same thing again. If it stayed at a steady flow I think I'd be able to go with it, but since it's been so unreliable I'm going to stop. I'm sorry if peop...

Re: One final chance: An FTL-RP

Actually, nevermind about joining. My mind's been off on a tangent about a massive slug ship and stuff. I would like to remark that this is the first forum i've been on who hasn't immediately responded with hostility. Edit 5 seconds later: Going back on myself again, i will participate, but my char...

Re: Most useful crew type?

I would do this: Mantis - Excellent defence of those nasty intruders. (I HATE THOSE INTRUDER GUYS) Engi - For fixing stuff Rockmen - No fire on my ship! Lanius - For those nasty O2 problems. But I keep them in an isolated room on my ship, when off-duty. Crystal - Nice to have, on occasion. Zoltan/S...

Re: Project Carma

Hey um one thing. Try turning your writing into paragraphs and spacing it a little bit. Pratically it allows for some suspense breaks or something like that but mainly, it helps the reader. For instance, You'd rather read this than You'd rather read this than You'd rather read this than You'd rather...

Re: One final chance: An FTL-RP

Hi. Hopefully i'm not to late for a unusual ship character? Name: 4.1. Race: A.I. Cruiser Occupation: salvager Skills: salvaging, hiding. Weakpoints: drones. He relies on them to much. Enjoys: cutting up wrecks. Dislikes: other A.I. Ships (Quintet is fine though) Secrets: believes A.I. Should rule,...

8 minutes. Well. You either broke a record for fastest victory or your ship's floating in space right now. Welcome back.

(Sidenote: I tried shooting for a Japanese-sounding name for the Lanius, because to me, the Lanius sprite looks a bit like a very pale anime girl with white pigtails and orange eyes)

Wow. That's certinatly an interesting way to put it. I don't doubt the extensiveness of your imagination.

Re: Most useful crew type?

Its not even a competition, the correct question is the best COMBINATION of crew An Engi on Shields, Weapons and Engines. Three Engi scattered around is enough to deal with nearly any problem the ship could have engineering-wise A Slug on Sensors, because... The idea a appeals to me. Immensly. A Ro...

Re: One final chance: An FTL-RP

Nazia glanced over at Arkangel, who apparently had a newly created orifice in his chest as well as blood stains and scratches. She latched onto some module and tore off parts of it while responding. "Well, the thing is, metal doesn't age." She gestured at his form, slightly rusted in some ...
