Yeah, the way weapons work on enemy ships is slightly different, and I'm not entirely sure how it works, it seems there's a list of weapons they randomly pick from or something? Weapon mounts I haven't looked into too much yet, if someone could link / explain exactly how they work, I could probably ...

You have a few different options on how to export your ship. The simplest option, is to export a .ftl file. This can be loaded using Grognak's Mod Manager, and there shouldn't be any extra work required Alternatively, you can export the invidual files used by ftl. You'll probably want to do this if ...

I've pretty much given up trying to create a ship from scratch. Either the image doesn't appear in the ship menu and when I click on it it crashes, or when I try to test it out using a ship layout similar in size, it just breaks and explodes even in the menus. There really needs to be a better guid...

Haven't heard any bug reports in a while, which is good :D So it should be pretty stable now, I'll start adding some of the missing features

I think I figured it out, I believe this is what was produced by FTLEdit for the shield tag: <shields power="2" room="5" start="true" img="room_pilot" /> When I changed the img="room_pilot" to img="room_shields" I think it fixed this parti...

The editor can be anywhere, but you seem to be missing some of the files from the zip that it comes in

Just tracked down that one and fixed it! Tell me if it happens anymore :)
