I was playing my ship mod,the dominator (check it out), which starts with an advanced flak gun. Third jump in: holy crap: flak mark 1 in space. I then proceeded to demolish the flagship with my: adv flak, flak 1, halberd beam, and burst laser 2.

I think it gets so much hate because what the hell is a Flak Gun doing on a boarding cruiser? I was making a ship mod, and I gave it artillery. When I tested the beam, it appeared from the top left-hand corner of the screen. Any ideas on how to fix it?
