Re: Is there any point in suggestions? Do authors listen?

Well, that statement right there means that there wont be any real changes to the game people want, like, expanded combat system, expanded away missions system, more freeform gameplay, more variety (right now game is pretty much the same, events get old very fast and all that really changes is what ...

Re: What augmentations are best?

2 OmegaJasam You are forgetting that igniter does cost extra ~70 over Automated Reloader, and so in case of using Ion II, you may really find a way to spend those 70 scrap elsewhere. Sure it helps, but the amount of help is really small (in my case i had 2x Ion II and a Pike Beam, and so, all it did...

Re: What augmentations are best?

I rate them as follows: Scrap Recovery Arm . It is worth 25 $ (you buy it for 50 and sell for 25 so you really pay 25 for it), which means that after you gather 250 $ you start making profit! This is worth getting whenever you find it, while of course you should aim to gear yourself with 3 combat on...

Re: Rebel pursuit in secret sector.

Heh. People misunderstand "science". Its not that it is impossible to travel at FTL speeds, it is that current science model only works when stuff travels slower than light. It is only appicable there. And in this model, it is impossible for macro object to reach light speed. But it may be...

Re: Is there any point in suggestions? Do authors listen?

There is no way you can legally forbid someone to create a game engine that mimicks your engine, unless it is patented, and even then its not a crime to make it, but to use it (see how LAME works with MP3 patents). This is widely acknowledged practice that you remake or upgrade game engine, but eith...

Re: Is there any point in suggestions? Do authors listen?

Oh no, of course i didnt mean to say "why devs are not listening" and i understand that game is very new. I was just asking whether or not there is a point in offering suggestions, because i had experience with both games that authors do like to listen and actually care, and games where th...

Re: 'PAUSE' on 'NUMPAD 0' for Lefties

Actually, I'd also suggest having pause on screen somewhere as well for some touch screen love.

Meanwhile, you can use AutoHotKey to simulate keypress (so that when you press any key you like, even a mouse button, spacebar press is emulated)

Re: No Steam? Put larger warning sticker on GOG option PLZ!

This all modern shit is just ridiculous, thats what i say. I hate everything about it. Game is supposed to be a game. You are supposed to have means to try it for free (shareware, demo, w/e) then pay for full version or stop playing (and if you do not offer free trial people will pirate your game bu...

Is there any point in suggestions? Do authors listen?

Greetings. After getting very far in the game (i seem to be able to beat the game on normal most of the time, not dying but only restarting if i get seriously screwed at start) i have gathered a list of ideas i think would be simple to implement, yet improve gaming experience very much, add depth (a...

Re: Best ship? [POLL]

I'd say the most "safe" ship is Torus A. You cannot really lose with this one, because you start with both weapons and drones, and you have a weapon that will penetrate ANY amount of shields eventually, unlike other ships, where you will eventually hit a wall where you cannot penetrate ene...
