I did exactly that. I bought on HB and installed in my GAMES folder, and i activated on steam and installed on steam. Yes we could, but again, mathematically it will be the same. Plus, in case you are adding new files that are rework of older files (make playable ship into enemy ship, for example, or add a new projectile sprite which is a recolor of original one), you need to make housekeeping - remember which file...

Its not always just a repaint, and its not easy to keep track of what is a diff of what. Having some random file as a crypto key is a universal solution.

Average game where you are playing on normal and are paying attention (trying to win, not fail) will take over 2 hours steadilly.
Autosave is a very needed option.

Its not that Burst III is UP, its that Burst II is OP. Really. In the current game, all energy weapons (which game calls lasers which they arent) have similar firing times. It could seems that 11 seconds of Dual laser vs 19 of Burst III is huge difference, but truth is, it isnt - it only means that ...
