This is all too true. I haven't died to an enemy ship in CE Infinite even once. But I haven't won in CE Infinite, either, because I always run out of fuel before I can go anywhere.

Both of those are still better than my hackjob attempt at shading. The last ship I tried custom shading on was so complex, I didn't know how it looked in 3D, so I couldn't do self-cast shadows and stuff--in the end I just gave up, slapped a gradient layer on, and called it a day, lol Did a little b...
