Biohazard, the ship must have n+4 weapon mounts to correctly use n artillery systems. With your ship only presumably having one artillery, n is 1, so n+4 is 5, and you must have 5 weapon mounts. (Even if you're going with 3, 2, 1 or 0 weapon slots.)

I....agree with that statement, I remember seeing so many different ships so many different stories and ways to play, granted my favorite is BURNING (MWHAHAHAHAHHAHA) and over powered fun where its Cathartic to go to town on the Rebel Flagship Well, I was actually among the modders that didn't care...

Well the engines were quickly recoloured and I'm not exactly an expert in recolouring stuff (See that second cruiser. First job, only knew about the area fill). So the excuse as to why they're shiny is that well... Kazaaak recently looted them from a Federation cruiser and the paint is barely dry. ...
