Uhhh, am I missing something here? Is it supposed to be possible for ordinary people to understand how to get a mod working using this thing, or is this mod programmers only until you guys can come up with a more user-friendly solution?

So my Steam copy of FTL just updated and upon re-patching CE (I got back into CE recently because I had the idea of trying to beat Hard Mode with every ship. That's really bizarre. My copy of FTL (with CE) only uses about 250 meg of ram, not 1.75 gig.

I think there's a few augments you didn't put on the list that need to be there. I'm mostly talking about the Training Simulator. That one's definitely a bad augment and I tend to find it a lot.
