I think you should just balance the weapons to the point where lasers aren't as op. Up the power cost and possibly reduce the weapon fire rate. Zerg should have almost exclusively missile weapons so they won't care as much about shields. Terrans should have a mix of missiles on some ships and bust l...

Just did it! Stealth ship B, Pre-Igniter, Stealth Weapons, Long Range Radar Glaive Beam, Burst Laser MK2, Burst Laser Mk2 Attack drone MK2, Attack drone Mk1 Basically i went for an insane alpha strike. I pretty much never lose my zoltans and its rare that my ship even takes damage. The rare times I have lot a zoltan was down to really bad luck or when I forgot to always keep them topped of at a med bay and a stray missile some how hit me early game. I think it would be interesting if only protoss started with shields. Might need to re balance weapons around ships having fewer/no shields.

no. You need the have a max reactor and 4 zoltans as well as enough systems to put the power in to get it.

Cloak is great for dodging missiles. You can shot out of it it just doesn't last as long if you do. Its main use early game is at one power to dodge missiles for 1 power and it basically gives you first strike after the enemy misses with his first volley.

This would improve my quality of life greatly. Should probably only allow it to auto regenerate if you jump out in a none combat situation when the ship isn't on fire.

Its a good start. Are you going to add an option to select a group of rooms to move all at once? Can't wait for you to add more features like basic load outs and possibly including the basic ship images so we can use them.

There are ships in the first couple sectors with no med bays which are great for taking out with boarding crews. The main advantage of boarding crews is they net you more scrap and other bonus loot which is a great. They also allow you to reduce the luck factor on attacks because they don't use rand...
