Making weapons with custom effects?

A long time ago I was fiddling with beam weapons and now I want to make a legit (And more balanced) beam weapon mod. So I can do the simple coding part, but can you make a weapon with it's own custom assets: -Sprite for weapon -Sprite for beam -Custom sound effect. (I really want to do this one sinc...

Also On that kestral, I swapped out on the basic laser for a mini beam, because it really sucked.

Thanks man, BTW can you make that kestral you sent me have one F.R. laser and one Basic or Dual laser? Yeah, it's weak combo, but that's to balance the fact once you get the shield down, the F.R. laser becomes a mini-vulcan.

I think the game stormwind could be off help, old flash game set all steam punkish and stuff, they even have a rebellion there with higher tech peoples attacking you. etc. Perhaps some inspiration can come from that. Anyway I think the only problem we have now is the Rebel flagship.... It could be ...
