For those with the struct error, please make sure the .dat files are NOT read-only.

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4.1 (Updated Nov 9 2012!)

@thashepherd: Transitioning from 3 and back should be easy, I believe. Adjust a few print statements and that's pretty much it. Also, no need to mess with ftldat in this case. :) Up to you!

@John Luke: Do you have legal access to the DRM-free copy? If so, can you try that?

Re: [REQ] TurnBased Combat

I can't insult well, but someone should really insult shark for writing all this BS because of an overambitious mod request thread. Lets not and say we did. ;) This topic is meant to be on the discussion of the feasibility and implementation of turn based combat, please keep it focused on just that.

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4.1 (Updated Nov 9 2012!)

@John Luke: Are you using the steam version? Which OS?

@WaferMouse: I believe on the Mac version there's a separate folder created around your home folder for mods.

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4.1 (Updated Nov 9 2012!)

Hey, Grognak - is here a particular file I have to add to my mod to get a description to show up in your tool? I'm building a mod and it works like a charm otherwise. Not implemented yet, unfortunately. Glad to hear it's going well. :) @gumball360: Try downloading the latest version of python 2.x a...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4.1 (Updated Nov 9 2012!)

@alextfish: Yeah, merging has been suggested in the past (there's even a very nice spec for it.) However, it would would require more time and effort to implement than I'm currently willing to spend. Thanks for the nice suggestion though, and if you get the itch to write it... all the code is on git...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4.1 (Updated Nov 9 2012!)

@Parzival, try redownloading and trying again.

@Bats, that error is completely unfamiliar to me. Please try reinstalling the latest version of python 2.x

@Ken, please make sure you moved the latest .ini file to the correct folder.

Re: Shark Wars

Hi Shark. Due to a request I have removed the download link from your first post. Please get approval from any individuals you took assets from before re-uploading your mod.

Thanks and feel free to pm me any questions.

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4 (Updated Oct 16 2012!)

As you guys have probably noticed I haven't been on as much lately. Sorry about that.

For everyone that's having problems with the app simply opening and doing nothing and things like that, does 1.3 work for you?

@DrkTemplar, it sounds like you might be saving in UTF-8 instead of Ansi?
