Re: [SHIPS][AE] Monster World

[shameless self-promotion] If you want to take it to the next level, grab MTE2 and open it. Analyse its contents. Read how the code is used, and get a good understanding of what a person can do with event editing. In that mod there are examples of basically everything you can do with the tools we've...

Re: Questions here: an inquiry thread! [Updated Sep 15th, 2014]

you should be able to just click a spot, then click elsewhere while holding down Shift. This should draw a straight line between the two points. This. Sadly I'm not really knowledgeable about GIMP (i've tried messing around in it a couple of times but geez, i don't know where anything is!) ...but y...

Re: Previews from the impatient

I wish you the best of luck, brotha!! I mean, not that you'll need it. Making ships is a pretty straightforward process thanks to Superluminal and this community, but still! : P My advice is: when stuck, look at how other people managed to overcome problems. Re: Questions here: an inquiry thread! [Updated Sep 15th, 2014]

The unique="true" attribute only applies to a single sector, not the whole game. Every FINISH_BEACON will be able to call that event. Aww, no way man!! : ( that's sad as fuck! And I thought i had it all figured out..! lol Anyway @Future Pilot: you should probably check out MTE2 . Both for...

Re: Questions here: an inquiry thread! [Updated Sep 15th, 2014]

@Future Pilot: As far as i know: 1. FINISH_BEACON is called from any and every exit beacon event. If i recall correctly it's an eventList that contains some generic events. I haven't found a way to set up a specific event for the exit beacon of a sector. 2. I doubt it. The only way to jump to a sect...
