The dev team is small, so they will need to prioritize those changes that: a.) make the game much better AND b.) are very easy to implement IMO priority number one should be a veteran crew roster for crew members who survive a mission. 1.) I love EV Nova with all my heart. :)
This game is great as well, and has tons of potential. I hope very much to see a expansion pack / DLC. Unofficial mods I usually don't get into, as they are almost never well supported.

I'll add one suggestion, not sure if it's on this thread yet:

LINKED WEAPONS.
The lack of this feature makes the auto-fire button useless, since weapons with different recharge times get out of sync and must be manually fired together to overcome shields and actually do damage to shielded ships.

Something that allowed crew to transcend a single run would be VERY welcome!!! Crew of ships that (i)finish the game or (ii)get to an escape pod should go into a roster and be available to swap into new ships to replace some or all of the usual starting crews of those ships. I'm curious about them though...so far it seems like out of everything on my ship, the crew are my most valuable and most vulnerable resource. Systems and hull can be repaired.
