Sure thing Sleeper, you can include this in Captain's Edn. I’m thinking about adding some more sounds in the future (the heavy lockdown could use its own sound), but that won’t be until after I finish this other mod I'm working on.

Hi Scuba Steve, sorry for the late reply. I think what you’re trying to do is a bit more complicated than that. As well as changing all instances of "PLAYER_SHIP_CIRCLE_2" to "PLAYER_SHIP_CIRCLE” in the xml file, you also have to change the names of the all the images and txt files. T...

Hey Oddball. Just so you know, FTL is 66% off atm (on Steam, the Humble Store and from the FTL website). If you want to pick up a copy now would be a good time. ;)

I recommend getting it from the Humble Store or ftl.com. That way you get a DRM-free version as well as a steam key.

I can confirm this mod works with Advanced Edn, I've been using it for months now without any problems. ;)

Also, you can use some of scooterbaga Replacers to get high-res versions of the new AE graphics.

Hm, yeah I see your point. That's probably something the devs should look into. :|

In the meantime, have you tried using a program like Gestureworks Gameplay to rig up an onscreen spacebar? That program costs $15 through steam, but there's probably some free alternatives out there.

Thanks for the tip, I might check out pixelmator too. I was doing my pixelart in GIMP but that was kind of a nightmare. :/
