it definitly doesnt add otherwise the engi cruiser would be way over powered, i've heard people drop that cooldown to like 1-2 seconds per shot (someone was able to get the 4 systems ioned with only 1 of those weapons) and that would mean every shot will add 5? that would mean you'd perminatly disab...

what is the ion damage duration

ok so ion weapons will disable 1 bar per shot I think for 1 rotation per ion damage is this correct? and how long is 1 ion damage? with the engi cruiser and it's ion burst II, the duration seems to be longer than the weapon's fire rate. which is 4 seconds and so the duration seems to be about 5 seco...

the reason there is no ion beam is because it would be over powered the purpose of an ion is to disable systems, being able to disable multiple systems at the same time just makes it too powerful, you might say to just make it consume more resources, but still theres no real counter to it. just not ...

yea the problem with people saying to adjust with what you got, its not so easy the cost in order to switch is very expensive. if you have tons of missiles, and you need to switch to a missile launcher/bomb well you gotta pay for the weapon slots, pay for the weapon itself, and pay for the power to ...
