Re: sM Polish Kit: Insurrection v1.6 [CE Support + Modules]

So a couple of days have passed since the Beta finally stopping being a Beta anymore (albeit prematurely, I'm not going to lie). I figured now would be a good time to discuss some of the changes that have happened in the interim, because 1.6 has opened up some new potential for mods. The first of th...

Re: Shiny! UI Overhaul and Graphics Mod v1.0

CRITICAL WARNING The Shiny! UI mod will NOT work in the latest versions of FTL, v1.6.x and onwards, due to a drastic alteration in the game's graphics and the way it puts names on various in-game things. While I've attempted to refit the Remastered style into the new files, it's not only far from p...

Re: sM Polish Kit: Insurrection v1.6 [CE Support + Modules]

With the unexpected sudden release of v1.6 of FTL from the beta branch right into the public domain, the update of the Polish Kit to work with it has been hastened. In truth, it's been in a ready state for several weeks, but it didn't seem fair to release it when only those on Steam and knew of the ...

Re: FTL Captain's Edition 1.301/Inf 1.301b/EL 1.301

I'm just going to bring this up as a possible heads-up, since I'm at a loss of ideas as to what's going on. I've begun to work on testing to ensure that CR is working with the 1.6 beta. The stores and how they're set up is unchanged from CE, I'm 98% sure of it. The problem is that for reasons that I...

Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.9 (2017-12-12)

Haha, let's just hope that was the last thing broken because we're kind of running out of version numbers to go up to!

Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.8 (2017-12-12)

Curious bug, that one. Funnily enough I tried seeing what happened if I made a patchmod that just included the file in question, and that actually fixes the glitch. Will be handy at least until this bug gets squashed.

Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.8 (2017-12-12)

This seems to have done the trick and gotten everything back up to speed. However, one thing that has remained from 1.7, is that for some reason there is no music playing in Civilian sectors (all other sectors seem to be okay from testing thus far). I'm trying to see if this is something on my end, ...

Re: sM Polish Kit: Insurrection v1.4 [CE Support + Modules]

Just as a heads-up, with the release of Slipstream compatibility for the current beta version of FTL comes a bunch of other changes behind the hood. I am currently in the process of adapting the Polish Kit for these, as well as testing to ensure that nothing is broken in any dramatic fashion. I'm no...

Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.7 (2017-12-12)

Right off the bat, something is incredibly broken with v1.7. Many of the mods I am trying to test are breaking instantly upon patching with the error message "Patching failed: java.io.IOException: Stream closed". This is including a mod that is literally just image files and nothing else. ...

Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.6 (2014-10-25)

Just as a heads-up, early tests of the upcoming FTL update are now on the Steam Beta Branch. The file system being used for this is quite different, and Slipstream will NOT work with it in its current state. Instead of there being a data.dat and resource.dat in the Resources folder, there's instead ...
