I had the same thing happen once, though for me I believe the sacrifice was to not lose the game. I was like "You will be remembered!" and then I was like. "oh. cool."

I've wanted Virus' 2nd ability since the first day I played the game. Slocknog's is really cool. I'm always impressed what info people can pull out of the game. Ruwen's seems a bit weak in comparison. Maybe instead of repair, he can generate a "shield" of crystals around himself? That work...

I've been playing for almost 700 hours and I still get this wrong. In general, though, I like to keep my mechs up front, except SOME artillery mechs that should be placed so they can range left/right or forward/back the most, to be able to target the most tiles. I like to give vek my mechs to target...

The same way you unlock every other pilot. by finding her in a time pod. Or using a tool to unlock, if there is one. If there is, it'd be on this forum somewhere.

I just watched one of my recent videos, which are unmodded, and the beam drones have a red light that gets brighter as they fire, as I'd expect.

EDIT OH you said beam 2. I encounter those so rarely I'd have to watch for it :D

650+ hours and I've never seen this bug. Runs like that are why I still play this game 6+ years after getting it :)

That free Weapon Pre-igniter. Finding 2+ flak cannons with the Red Tail. Having 4 mantises and a teleporter, and getting Mind Control. Having a ship where the Fire Beam actually works.

Man I want to play, now. :D

Early Rift Walkers can be hard, especially on Hard mode. They're pretty weak compared to the Vek they face. Initial placement is important in Hard mode. In addition to "don't get webbed" (which isn't a terrible thing, really) I also like to bait vek that aim at multiple targets to aim at m...
