Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4 (Updated Oct 16 2012!)

I am experiencing the same errors as others using the app; console provides no meaningful information (same messages as other user, with code 255.) I've gone down the other tree, trying to get python and Tkinter working properly using the tgz from Github. bash-3.2# pythonw main.py Traceback (most r...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.4 (Updated Oct 16 2012!)

Tried on linux and ran into some obstacles. Distro was Kubuntu 12.10 amd64, python reported version 2.7.3. First, main.py:407 looks for realpath[:realpath.rindex(" \\ ")] . Traceback (most recent call last): File "main.py", line 407, in <module> dir_root = realpath[:realpath.rin...

Small Bug when losing resources.

So, I was playing normally, and had only 1 drone part. I arrived at a beacon, and a ship stole resources from me. He stole 2 drone parts(ie I lost 2 parts). Here is the result:

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager (v1.3)

It looks like the problem was with os.path.split(argv[0])[0]. I changed that to os.getcwd() + '/' and it's working now. Here's the application I made with py2app: http://www.gregstiffler.com/gmm.zip Does that actually work? Because when I was editing the main.py to make it work to mac, I recall tha...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager (v1.3)

Ok, mrgstiffler, try going to System Preferences/Security & Privacy/General Tab and on "Allow applications downloaded from" mark Anywhere and run the manager again. Unfortunately that was already set :( Then I really don't know what's happening. Sorry, I just don't have enough informa...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager (v1.3)

Yup. That's it. Started Console, cleared display, launched application. Nothing else shows up. Well, that's REALLY weird. It seems like the program doesn't say anything at all. ... I'll google for problems involving Mountain Lion and py2app, but can't promise anything. (Fun fact: I googled, and thi...
