I've recently had the opportunity to enjoy a ship that could use more than 8 weapons power through its pre-igniter on the first volley. I'd say this takes the cake when it comes to ridiculous weapon configurations. You could have say 4 burst laser IIIs and fire 20 lasers. Best though would probably ...
