It's not needed anymore, thanks to AUTOMATIC writing an extension which allows us to draw our own UI elements. The latest versions of the mod loader comes with it built in: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=32833

Re: Prototype Lua mod loader

Fixed a duplication issue with pilot rearrangement. Added an isVersion function. It compares a version string to another (for example the mod version), by default it compares to the API version. Added hooks for before and after environmental effects are played (note that they're called even if the m...

Secret Pilot has trouble getting EXP

Spoilers if you haven't unlocked the secret pilots! I noticed that when Kazaaak gets a kill with his ability, he doesn't get the full experience, but rather it's shared between all pilots like with environmental kills. This is annoying because he is often put in support Mechs which don't have power...

Re: Help getting sprite sheets

Into the Breach uses the same .dat format as FTL, so the FTL Unpacker still works: https://subsetgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2788

Re: [Mod component] The Dll Extender

The mod loader now implements this api, if you have the latest version there is no need to download it separately.

Re: Prototype Lua mod loader

Hello everyone, I'm sorry for my recent absence, as I've been ill I've not felt like working on any mods. Fortunately, in the meantime, Automatic has steadily made advances on extending the game with c++, allowing us to among other things make new ui elements and finally get rid of that command prom...

Re: [Bug] AI unit pathing ignores hazards

I might understand them not seeing the landmines if they were actually buried at all How do you know they aren't buried? The view we get is simplified. Before the Pinnacle mission with the ice mines Zenith says that there are hundreds of mines in the area, but that would be very unclear visually so...

Re: The Chrono Keepers

I dunno if I'm just doing something wrong, but I did eventually get the mod working, but it doesn't function the way you describe: 1: The squad doesn't replace Steel Judoka. Rather it replaces Rift Walkers, but only in the customize squad screen (selecting actual Rift Walkers still gives me the Rif...

Re: Modding ITB: R&D And Current Findings

So, the mod manager I've been working on is now somewhat usable. Figured it'd be useful to post a preview version to get some feedback. Well, sorry, a little late for that. My mod loader (http://subsetgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=32833) takes better advantage of the use of lua (imo), an...
