There are very rare instances where you might want a junior crewmember take over (like leveling up backup crew, as Gorlom said), but in those rare cases you can just have the senior guy leave the room. Overall, I think this solution's intuitiveness and ease of use makes it worthwhile. Out of curios...

There is no way currently to force one crew member to be at the console as standard. but you can always do this: step 1) pause the game, step 2) select the crew member(s) that are not supposed to be at the console, step 3) give them an order to move to another room and then step 4) without unpausing...

For the beacon maps issue: have you checked the options menu? I thought they added a function in there for that. It's turned off by default, so you might have missed it. So far, it seems like i have to power off a weapon for it to not be affected by autofire.. correct me if I'm wrong select the weap...

Do you even understand the concept of a company? People you hire don't just do whatever, they do what the employer tells them to. Yes "You're my employee, do what I say." is exactly how it works. If employees don't do what they are hired for, they are fired. They will still completely own...

I could have sworn the left most weapon on the flagship was an ion bomb.. 2nd from the left is a heavy burst laser, third is a 3 missile rocket launcher and fourth is the beam weapon. what is the left most if its not an ion bomb?

I think they should make an "impossible" difficulty where you start off with the basic kestrel Type A against the rebel mother ship. And you need to play this at least 10 times before you unlock easy and normal difficulty. :twisted: This should teach everyone that "you will die in thi...
