Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.4 (2013-09-20)

That makes sense, ty s. could you explain under which circumstances a backup will be loaded from the program dir (\FTL\resources)? Whenever you click "patch"... ⋅ It looks for "SMM/backup/data.dat.bak". If it doesn't exist, "FTL/resources/data.dat" is copied t...

Re: Slipstream Mod Manager v1.4 (2013-09-20)

Hi again Vhati.

could you explain under which circumstances a backup will be loaded from the program dir (\FTL\resources)?
Is it only 1x in the beginning, the vanilla version of the 2 files there, as I suspect? And not afterwards anymore (only if I delete the files from backup folder)?

thx
S.

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.7 (Updated March 6, 2013!)

ok fine thanks for the help. btw (I knwo I'm in the wrong thread): maybe you could add a feature: I like to sort my mods in subfolders, to describe them. could there be sth. like subfolder-support? e.g., under \mods i could have sth like \CanBeUsedTogether ,\favorites, \test Other ways to achieve th...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.7 (Updated March 6, 2013!)

well now that's interesting: there seems to be nada difference between the mac and win versions, just the compression of the resource.dat or sth. like that - contents are identical. So it shouldn't matter... Now that I loaded Slipstream, maybe you can help out again, vhati (great prog!): - where doe...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.7 (Updated March 6, 2013!)

Hi Vhati, yes I think I will probably compare them, thou not sure if it's really helpful when I come out with the reason of size difference, anyhow. If I try out to swap the files, it might well be that FTL runs, but maybe has some issues I do not detect in the beginning. Do the dev's read here? Yep...

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.7 (Updated March 6, 2013!)

Hey everybody. I successfully achieved a working sync between my mac and pc version via dropbox. What I now want to achieve is also syncing the Mods. Plan is to put the GMM into the dropbox folder, also. But I know that I would have to patch separately, as the FTL program folder won't get synced. Bu...

Re: Balanced Arsenal Mod 1.2/1.12b

Hi Sleeper,
I know you have put all this into the Captains Mod, but I try to download the single Balanced Arsenal Mod 1.2
The dropbox Link on the first page (Download Version 1.2)
does not work anymore, can I grab the file somewhere else?

Thanks!
S.
