The downside to any random elements is that sometimes... You get boned. If his dodge was 50%, 50%^8 = 4% chance.

Using Better Planets and Backgrounds 1.3 together with Infinite Space 0.3.2 results in a runtime error, unfortunately. Just fyi.

1) The sentence is correct. "All ship systems...provide a 15 percent..." The plating is irrelevant. I disagree. It is the plating that is proving the 15 percent bonus, and as there are multiple platings (one for each system) they should be referred to in the plural. Though I'm not a gramm...

I just did a playthrough where I got dual Mk II Burst Lasers and a Glaive beam. It was perfect since the lasers fire in 12s intervals, and the glaive is 25s. With a lvl 2 weapons guy the lasers are quick enough to pound most enemy weapons before they fire. A perfect salvo netted a total of ~15-18 dm...
