I don't know if this bug has been found yet : I received a mission that gives me the position of a rebel station so that I can attack it. When I went to the quest beacon, the station was in an asteroid field. I beat the station, and the game stopped suddenly.

If your idea is making the ship as small as possible, you could remove the Sensor room. And even the Medbay, by instead giving the Healing Bomb as a weapon ! Could be fun :D

Beams are particularly troublesome in that they aren't instantaneous, and crew/drones are moving targets.
