The event on the beacon has a syntax error. Just don't land on the beacon and send a report to the CE guy and if theres been an update download the latest CE version and then you'll be able to land on the beacon fine.

I recently installed the latest update and the EL version and I noticed lots of ships have something next to them in brackets like (weapon refit) or (battleworn), does this mean the enemy ships have different loadouts are is it just for flavour?

Yup, thats what I was looking for. I was unsure which one to use as all of the weapon names have "SHOTGUN" and the BURST confused me. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know what the XML tag is for all of the Flak weapons for use in blue events, I think its along the lines of SHOTGUN but I'm not sure which one is correct.

I believe I followed the correct order. BPaP, FTL CE, BPaP compatability, Additional music and and then Infinite/

The CE infinite mod seems to cause a crash for me. Trying to pick some ships such as the Osprey simply freezes the game and if I can get past the hanger I get a "this application has requested to terminate in an unusual way".

Due to the fact you can only install a limited amount of systems it actually doesn't have that much of an impact. At most you can have 3 more bars of power needed.

Sorry if this is a thread "necro", but since this is only a week later, I don't think it counts. :) Anyways, there is at least one blue option for humans in the advanced edition now. Basically, I think it's a joke option, since: 1. It's the only blue option for humans I've encountered. 2....

Another one that confused me was the Zoltan asteroid guards who somehow have a full Zoltan shield even though once the fight starts it'll be destroyed in a matter of seconds due to the pelting.

I see so I have to use the full list including the music and people rarity.
Also I'm presuming that this means that if something is repeated twice in the XML the first one is ignored and only the second is used?
