The first one that jumps out at me is Invisible, Inc. You have a ridiculous amount of information each turn and can pretty much stroll through levels undetected. Until you get detected, at which time the whole game gets 100 times harder. And it was probably your own fault.

Re: Am I just that bad?
You posted in FTL but seem to be talking about Into The Breach. Yes, it's that hard. Especially for seasoned gamers. The goals in the game (from flavor text) match what you as a gamer expect, but the actual winning strategy is quite different. Your mechs heal fully for free after every battle. There...

Any time you go to 0 from any number, that's totally normal for FTL.
The only thing I disagree with is that it's restricted to beginners

Another way to deal with it is to go into the fight knowing you'll be facing it, which you can now do every time. If you have a defensive (or anti-drone) drone, you can fairly reliably shoot it down. And they're good in general against the boss. If you have hacking, you can wait on it and hack their...

I can't speak on the gameplay as I don't play with it, but from what I've heard/seen, that's precisely the point.

Re: memory wiped... again
This doesn't sound like a game issue. I've played FTL for 6 years through maybe as many full runs unlocking everything, and I've never lost a save. I've also in that time never heard of anybody else with a chronic issue like this. There must be some specific thing wrong with your setup, though I'd h...
