hehe ive read some other FTL stories and i see those giant spiders are quite good at taking out captains :)

Wouldnt the shops/loot function for the weapons just be setting the rarity to anything but 0? Also, if you could clarify what the bp/sp in the weapon stats is, I'd be appreciative. I'm trying this weapon stuff out for the first time and having a blast... hopefully it works. I am not sure what BP an...

Yeah, this is what always gets me about modding: it's often hard to tell what's moddable and what's off limits in the .exe.

I've been pulling my hair out over trying to do that python script, not trusting the .exe, thank god for this alternative.. Well done. Can't wait to give this a try. :) *Update* - it worked well for a while using the no rebels change in the events.xml but now it seems to have the repacking error aft...
