On Room Editing: questions...

To figure out how to manually create and modify rooms layout ( only ), without any Editor, I tried a very basic experiment: - I assumed that: 1- mantiscruiser.xml 2- mantis cruiser.txt 3- the part regarding the mantis in blueprints.xml were ALL the files I had to edit in order to modify rooms layout...

3D Ship

Done a quick 3D ship, weapons too ( heavy laser and ion bomb )- based on the Vortex's layout, still unable to properly use ShipEditor... but it seems not as it is. Question: does anyone know if it's possible to increase the game resolution? Many small details disappear when packed to FTL resolution....

how do you accutally save the ship/use it in the game? Install GMM ( Grognak's Mod Manager ). Then from within FTL Ship Editor, click "Options", click "Export to .ftl". Copy the .ftl file that it produces into your FTL /mods/ directory. Run GMM and click your new ship, then clic...
