[MOD] Overpopulation 0.043 {abandoned}

Are the species of your galaxy too numerous? Are they multiplying like rabbits? Then this might be the mod for you. Use all those extra people in battle!

Place the .ftl file in your mod folder. When you click the validate button, Slipstream Mod Manager should say, "This mod doesn't append. It clobbers."

Initial release of 0.012:
-No specifics given, initially

0.022 update:
-Added more graphic changes
-Added metadata.xml for SMM

0.043 update:
-Added more graphic changes due to AE
-Changed some bombs from the 0.022 update
-Replaced asteroids


All it does right now is replace some graphics. No editing of the .xml files is done. This shouldn't change the gameplay in any way.

Abandoned:
Perhaps in the future, it will add more graphics and edit some .xml files to fit those graphics. I'm not actually going to try doing that anytime soon.

Can you provide some screenshots? What graphics does it actually replace? I assume races, but still.

Can you provide some screenshots? Nope.

What graphics does it actually replace? Weapon projectiles. I didn't really want to answer that. I wanted it to be a surprise to anyone daring enough to try this mod that lacks sufficient information.

I guess its fine to do that, but the title is a bit misleading. Something like, "Deadly Variety" would be a more fitting way of putting it.

I suspect 19,952 bytes, since you posted in this topic.

There is one question that isn't answered: Why don't the ships have full crews if there are so many people?

Sadly, Engi and Slugs aren't currently represented. I do have an idea for them, but the image editing will be more complex.

Rocks don't replace anything; they just hang on for the ride. :lol:

This mod. Is amazing.
