If you're experiencing a black screen for ~30 seconds before the game actually launches when playing on Switch, please restart your System that should resolve the issue. To restart the Switch:
1. Hold down the power button on the top of the Switch for a few seconds
2. Select Power Options
3. Select Restart

Another workaround: I was able to get past this by killing the game twice.
