..when you're going for the "Defense Drones Don't Do Anything" achievement on hard only, go missiles only, get explosive replicator, get teleporter...
Only to not meet a single ship with a defense drone during the entire game, in spite of jumping through two Engi sectors, then sacrificing all defensive play in phase 2 of Flagship to get the defense drones achievement there MyLowesLife. Succeeding, only to find out that the Flagship defense drone doesn't count towards the achievement.
Then dying in phase 3 because I'm out of missiles and all sensible play was sacrificed in order to get the achievement.
