You need to check all connections as sometimes the node requires taking a limited path or even doubling back.
Go to the Store Node and that'll connect to the node below which connects to the exit.

You are right, sorry. The store path connects, dont know why i didnt see it, i was sure i checked it...

Sometimes you can miss a connection because it's covered by the text window.
It is often a good thing when you reach a new sector to wisely plot your route from the exit to your position (yes, you read correctly), so you can already figure out how long it takes to leave the current zone.
Has anyone ever considered a Warhammer 40,000 Mod for this game? It would be awesome!
